This is an attempt to paint white roses. I am pleased with the roses and the background. For me roses are hard to paint. I will keep trying to capture them. This is why I paint, to get better and better. The challenge is good for you. It is available for your collection. I posted the white roses today because it is a special day.
MY HUSBAND IS 6__ YOUNG TODAY. HAPPY BIRTHDAY SAM!!
Email Barbara if you wish to purchase the painting

We have just recently moved the Woodville, Texas. So far, we are both loving the country. I create art for myself. I love doing this. I am a Christian, wife, mother, retired banker, and artist. I started painting in 1976 and was hooked. I have never been bored creating a painting. The subjects are endless. I have been frustrated, but never bored, I will try all subjects, landscape, floral, seascape, still life, and portraits. I belong to several art groups
Outdoor Painters Society
Oil Painters of America
Artists of Texas
EBSQart
Tyler County Art League
I also teach oil painting classes each week in my studio.
When I'm not painting, I love to be with my family. My husband is my best friend and we have been married for 59 years. We travel thro this great country.
