White Roses | Barbara Haviland – Blog

© Barbara Haviland

This is an attempt to paint white roses.  I am pleased with the roses and the background. For me roses are hard to paint. I will keep trying to capture them.  This is why I paint, to get better and better. The challenge is good for you. It is available  for your collection.  I posted the white roses today because it is a special day.

MY HUSBAND IS 6__  YOUNG TODAY.  HAPPY BIRTHDAY SAM!!
Email Barbara if you wish to purchase the painting

New Web Site https://BarbaraHavilandFineArt.com WE have just recently moved the Woodville, Texas. So far, we are both loving the country. I create art for me. I love doing this. I am a Christian, wife, mother, retired banker, and an artist. I started painting in 1976 and was hooked. I have never been bored creating a painting. The subjects are endless. I have been frustrated, but never bored, I will try all subjects, landscape, floral, seascape, still life, and portraits. I belong to several art groups Outdoor Painters Society Oil Painters of America Artists of Texas EBSQart Tyler County Art League I also teach oil painting classes each week in my studio. When not painting, I love to be with my family. My husband is my best friend and we have been married for 58 years. We travel this great country.
