This is my second time to paint the Mission at Big Bend National Park. We went to Big Bend in 2012 with OPS and I painted it then. Here recently, I was going thru my photos and I decided to do this one again. It brought back so many happy memories. I do hope you like this version. It measures 16″x16″ and is on a gallery wrapped canvas. The sides are painted to match the painting.

We have just recently moved the Woodville, Texas. So far, we are both loving the country. I create art for myself. I love doing this. I am a Christian, wife, mother, retired banker, and artist. I started painting in 1976 and was hooked. I have never been bored creating a painting. The subjects are endless. I have been frustrated, but never bored, I will try all subjects, landscape, floral, seascape, still life, and portraits. I belong to several art groups

I also teach oil painting classes each week in my studio.
When I'm not painting, I love to be with my family. My husband is my best friend and we have been married for 59 years. We travel thro this great country.
