Sunlit Arms of the Silent Tree by Barbara Haviland

Sunlit Arms of the Silent Tree.” This 8×6 piece portrays a serene landscape where a tall, leafless tree stands at the center, its bare branches reaching skyward. It’s surrounded by vibrant green trees, touched with hints of yellow and orange that whisper the arrival of autumn. I aimed to capture the way sunlight streams through the branches, casting a peaceful glow over the scene. The textured, expressive brushwork highlights the natural beauty and quiet strength of this moment, inviting you to pause and appreciate the subtle interplay of light and shadow in nature. This work is a tribute to the stillness and gentle energy found in the heart of a sunlit forest.

I hope you like my tree. It is part of my daily paintings.
