I was given this photo to paint from and chose to do it  with a long format. I loved the tree all alone with no leaves but filled with Spanish moss.  I loved the green in the water. I hope you can feel the peacefulness I was trying to emulate.

New Web Site We have just recently moved the Woodville, Texas. So far, we are both loving the country. I create art for myself. I love doing this. I am a Christian, wife, mother, retired banker, and artist. I started painting in 1976 and was hooked. I have never been bored creating a painting. The subjects are endless. I have been frustrated, but never bored, I will try all subjects, landscape, floral, seascape, still life, and portraits. I belong to several art groups Outdoor Painters Society Oil Painters of America Artists of Texas EBSQart Tyler County Art League I also teach oil painting classes each week in my studio. When I'm not painting, I love to be with my family. My husband is my best friend and we have been married for 59 years. We travel thro this great country.
