I was given this photo to paint from and chose to do it  with a long format. I loved the tree all alone with no leaves but filled with Spanish moss.  I loved the green in the water. I hope you can feel the peacefulness I was trying to emulate.

I am a wife,mother,daughter,retired banker and an artist. I started painting in 1976 and was hooked. I have never been bored creating a painting. The subjects are endless. My husband is my best friend and we have been married for 56 years. We travel this great country.
