The  Stellar Jay was found in Montana while I was visiting friends. He is so pretty..

The Stellar’s Jay is a jay native to western North America, closely related to the Blue Jay found in the rest of the continent, but with a black head and upper body. It is also known as the Long-crested Jay, Mountain Jay, and Pine Jay.

When I'm not painting, I love to be with my family. My husband is my best friend and we have been married for 61 years. Yes 61 years. We travel thro this great country.
