Starting today I am taking a challenge to do 50 birds in 50 days and each bird will measure 7″x5″ except for this one.. I found this Kingfisher and just had to paint him. He is done on a canvas panel that I make. My artist friend Laurie Pace is doing 100 horses in 100 days for $100.00. We have just recently moved the Woodville, Texas. So far, we are both loving the country. I create art for myself. I love doing this. I am a Christian, wife, mother, retired banker, and artist. I started painting in 1976 and was hooked. I have never been bored creating a painting. The subjects are endless. I have been frustrated, but never bored, I will try all subjects, landscape, floral, seascape, still life, and portraits. I belong to several art groups
